It is likely that the police will tell you that there isn't enough evidence to refer the case to the Crown Prosecution Service for a criminal charge. Your solicitor is likely to tell you that the only way to achieve any sort of justice, is to proceed with a civil claim. It's not "justice", but in this country, it is likely the only "justice" you will get.
